Carlingford High School approached us with a clear objective: to convert an outdated metalwork room into a multi-functional TAS Room that could cater to woodwork, art, and technology classes. The Solution: Custom Work Benches and Secure Storage
To meet the school's needs, we supplied our Solid Noxx Work Benches, equipped with foot casters for easy mobility. These heavy-duty benches are built to withstand the rigours of daily classroom use and were customised to support both woodwork and creative projects.
Storage and safety were also major priorities. We installed lockable tool cabinets, giving teachers the ability to secure sharp or dangerous tools when not in use. This not only enhances safety for younger students but also ensures that tools are accounted for at the end of each lesson.
In addition, we incorporated dedicated tool holders to support visual accountability - a simple but effective way to teach responsibility and keep the room organised. Students can clearly see where tools belong and know they are expected to return them at the end of each session.
